CrossTimbers Ministry Team
Recently, CrossTimbers has extended our minisstry of sharing the message of "The Cross" thru outreaches and going to different churches.
Saturday, November 13th, we had the priviledge to go to Meek's Chapel and help them with an outreahc. Our ministry team shared the message of "The Cross" thru archery demonstration and trick shooting. Lives were touched and several people made life changing decisions to follow Christ.
Thank you to all our staff and volunteers who was there to help us. God is doing incredible things thru CrossTimbers.

Dear Camp Staff, one and all:
It was a distinguished pleasure and privilege you entrusted me with to instruct your young campers in basic archery skills. It was amazing watching those kids, many of whom had never touched a bow, pick them up and not only hit targets at 5 or 10 yards, but even make great a few great shots at 3-D targets out to 20 yards. As I instructed, mentored, and positioned these boys, I was struck by their little arms, little hands, and little dirty fingers working together with their furled brows and shining, inquisitive eyes and thought what an amazing God I serve to have created every tiny cell of our beings so perfectly that we look upon these young kids and only see God’s miracles at work…and play. Somehow that focus is easily lost among us men, but when you look upon those little ones, it brings those miracles back into focus.
I sought to teach a lesson and received one myself. Never take for granted the miracles at work by our one true amazing and living God, mostly clearly seen by spending time with young children. What an absolute blessing to witness God’s amazing creations at play amidst God’s amazing creation that is our outdoors.
Thank you again for the honor of teaching both the introduction to archery seminar and the archery-hog-hunting seminar. And, thanks again for providing the perfect picture of God’s majesty and miracles through watching those young boys shoot. My hope is that if archery plays any part of even one of those boys’ legacy that they pass on to future generations, my trip was a success and used for His purpose. God bless ya’ll and I wish success beyond measure in all of your endeavors. Until next year I would also love to blog about this event. If there are pictures you can share, please e-mail them to me with photo-credit information and I will spread the word about this camp in hopes that an even better camp, with even more blessings awaits all of us next summer.
In His grip,
Kevin Reese
